Masculine Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters,

Today we have a quick and easy card tutorial for you based on the theme of the month. This is a fun and easy card that you can make utilising your dies and embossing folders.

Here's a look at the card

Supplies used:

  • Nakshatra Designs - Master and Mister Collection 6x6
  • Embossing Folder- Kaisercraft Diamonds
  • Kaisercraft Decorative Rectangle Die- Fancy Frame
  • Spellbinders Matting Basics A Die
  • Sizzix Framelits- Stephanie Bernard Sentiment Collection
  • White Cardstock
  • Vintage Photo Distress Ink
  • Archival Ink Vermillion
  • Scoreboard
  • Foam Tape
You could use any dies and embossing folder that you have.

First, prepare your base. Score a 8"x 12" cardstock at 6" on the 12" side. Fold and this makes your card base.

Next, cut a 6" patterned paper at 5 1/2" . Use another patterned paper at cut 1 1/2" x 5 1/2". Distress the edges of both these pieces using distress ink.

Emboss the above two pieces using any embossing folder.

Next, using assorted pattern papers, cut different sizes with your dies.

Once done, play around with your arrangement and begin adhering everything with foam tape. Most paper packs also come with some element sheets. So you can cut out some elements and use them as well to complete your card.

Hope you enjoyed this easy tutorial!

Hello everyone,

The theme for this month is Masculine and Fathers Day is also around.Today for your inspiration I have a photo frame and a gift tag.I have tried combining some handmade flowers with sentiment tiles.Let me show you a quick picture of these.

Supplies Used:
1. Handmade photo frame
2. Papericious Sigma Cardstock
3. Papericious Crystal Clear powder
4. Leaf diecuts
5. Pollens
6. Distress Ink
7. Penny Black Stamp
8. Rangers multi medium matte
9. Black Archival ink
10. Sentiment tiles

This time I worked with Papericious sigma cardstock to make these flowers.Coloring has been done with Distress inks. After that added Crystal Clear powder with the help of multi medium matte.I was pretty happy with the outcome. After attaching all this to photo frame,i attached sentiment tiles on the right hand top side.

On the tag,I have done distressing first and stamped the sentiment with Black Archival Ink and added diecut. This one was super quick.

Let me share some close ups of this now.

Altered Bottle project by GDT Hema

Hi Dearies.....

I have a new altered project to share with you and the supplies used here would be from Crafts Need a place for all our crafty need.  I have used Magnolia and Animal print card stock from DCWV from the store and other crafty supplies.

In today's project I have used a empty box of Jack Daniel.  So let's start the tutorial for the same and alter this box together.Let me share some close ups of the bottle before that.

I have picked two 12x12 scrapbook sheets, which co-ordinate with each other for this project. I picked one animal prints and one plain thick card stock for this project.  I covered the box with pattern paper …...here I wanted make a corset dress form so I measured a inch gap and punched holes and inserted eyelets and fixed it. Later I took a silk twine and inserted into the eyelets and stuck the box.

Next I covered the box with plain CS which matches the pattern paper.  I stuck it and gave a fold at the edges and stuck some lace and pearls around and decorated the box.
Now after I finished embellishing I die cut CS and further decorated it....as shown in the pics.
This is how I decorated the altered box.  Hope you guys liked it and would surely give a try.  This box can be used for gifting as candle box, for artist brushes....ideas are many...and choices too.

Will be joining with you all very soon.
Lots of love and Happy crafting
Hema
